A recipe for a cold and windy day
Today I thought I'd share a recipe I'm thinking of cooking. It's turned really cold and my thoughts are turning to stews and casseroles. I saw thi one and thought it would make a nice change from the usual offereings.

Scrapbook Page
A quickie this evening before I turn in for the night. Been awake since 4:30am and feeling a wee bit tired.
this was just a test using the new Craft Artist Professional 2. and adding a couple of photos. Will be playing with this more and testing to see if the new SVG export thingie and cutting works.
night....my bed is calling

Missing in Action
Sorry, I didn't realise I'd been away so long. Sometimes the times just flies!! Anyways I've had a busy week with hospital appointments and such like and big decisions to make (more of that later).
Last Sunday I was at a work shop at that lovely shop in Marks Tey called Birds in the Barn. Always a lovely welcome from the ladies there and a wonderful shop chock full of goodies. My very firstest workshop was with the talented Hels Sheridan who does wonderful work with inks and things.
Here is what I made. A few mistakes (but not if you know what I mean), but I think it turned out rather well.
I used the techniques on hubbies birthday card. Can't believe he is 60 on Wednesday. Will post it then.

Cards for August
Here are the cards I made for my sons birthday last month
The one above was cut using my Silhouette Cameo machine and then embossed with Sizzix Texture Boutique Machine. I then used Snow Cap Adirondack Ink and buffed over with a piece of kitchen towel.
Stamped a Clock face using Creative Expressions Time Flies Set and printed Happy Birthday Son from the Computer. Backed the card with Silver Mirri Board and Embellished with Black and White Bakers Twine and antique Silver brads and a watch face coloured with a black promarker.
This one was using Hunkydory for the Gents pack with a printed Hapy Birthday brother and inked with distress stains and a couple of brads.
I like stamping and cutting but sometimes easy crafting is good too!!
